A year or so ago there were Turkish websites or radio stations playing some of the songs I had posted on the net.
Now my website is getting many hits and plays from unknown folks from Moscow and from the Ukraine (Kiev). Actually, it is a lot more than from the States or Europe.
Anyone know why that is happening?

Hey Doug:
Don't count on any "airplay income"... LOL! Regardless, it's great to know your music is being "played" anywhere. Let's hope it eventually leads to bigger and better for you.

It happens. Someone listened and liked and told their friends. Justice has had hundreds of thousands of streams of her songs in France.

So it sounds like I should feel good about this.
I am going to look up where Kiev is.
Can't imagine they would like my kind of music, but who knows.

Hey Doug,
That's awesome! Don't knock your music, many people like many styles, and yours just may be hitting the spot! Enjoy the success!! :-)

Thanks Nitepiano
I will try to look at it that way.
My stuff is very American and often patriotic. Maybe they like those ideas.

Hey Doug,
Yep, those damn Russians are streaming it, capturing it, then releasing it into the wilds of the internet.
But at least they're listening to it and like your stuff.
cheers, niteshift

Thanks Nite for that comment. It'd be nice to get some kinda feedback from them. Maybe I would tailor a song especially for the Russian audience.
Thanks also Nelson. You are coming close to hitting my "I am not worthy" button, but I really appreciate such a compliment, especially from a guy who produces such top notch music himself.
