Can anyone tell me about the Terada 12 string acoustic guitar model 1012? It was made in 71-72. Beautiful and great sound,that's all i know about it. I saw just one on the internet and it was just like mine.Wondering about the value of it. Thanx,Mike

Terada was a brand name used by a Japanese guitar factory that also made other brands - I think Orville by Gibson was one of them. Teradas are supposed to be well made but are not very common. I have seen them selling in the $300 range but I doubt you would get any more. Orvilles sell for more but it is the Gibson name that makes that happen.
Most Asian guitar factories do contract work from others and will put any name on the guitar that the customer wants. Squiers for instance have come from 7 or eight factories at different times - good and bad.
There are people who think 70s and 80s Japanese guitars are great and I would agree with them for the most part (60s Japanese guitars were horrible by the way).
So if you like the guitar, play it and enjoy it. Selling it will not make you rich.
