http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZ00rXMjHL8A song from my younger years, of a girl I'll never forget, in a kitchen where working was hard and
people were bitching...Love came easy till it was all washed up
and dried...like a rose in the rafters of an attic.
The artwork... mime pins are all my work...long since sold but
they remind me of her eyes....each one has that same kinda
twinkle. Enjoy! Susie's Song. Beneath a heap of pots and pans and dishes in a pile, there comes a pretty teenaged girl to cheer me with her smile........ When other friends drop by my side they just want something done, a dollar here a word of cheer, then off to find the sun...... But when I am left without a smile she gives me one of hers, and when loneliness has got me down, she's worth a million cures, when troubles seem to much to take, then Susan comes along, words can't express her friendliness and so I write this song.... words can't express her friendliness, and so I write this song....

You should post up the lyrics!

M. (you know I'm saying your name in my mind)
You always have such nice melodys and one of the things I always come away with is that you honor those who you either care for or touch your life in your songs and that makes them interesting to listen to. Very nice.

Hey Tam...I'm on my way to a computer store cause some laptop friend does not comprehend my anti-virus approach, BUT! To honor those who you care for who touch your life in your songs sounds like a good song to me.
For all who touch our lives in song.
We're only here such a short while to fill and strain our hearts, with loves and friendships sharing smiles, what joy those gifts impart... eventually our heartstings break and each soul's bound to part.
We must honor those we care for who touch our lives ......in songs, composing finest tributes, welcome all to sing along.
Saying thanks with sweetest melodies, for the muses they set free, God granted us this sacred trust making those with less..... happy.
The world is full of loneliness, some live vicariuosly, through what those blessed in song address, it soothes the misery.
I know because when I've been sad over a love I'd squandered,, some love song helped me move along, those lonlely paths I wandered.
So raise guitars and hit those keys, share what most have never known and if music's not your cup of tea, you can always write a poem.

***See, that's what makes comments so great on this site. it moves us to write more, whether good or bad, because even a lump of coal when pressed can become a gleaming diamond.
Thanks Tam for your lovely comments. Now I too am saying your name in my mind, and isn't that why we write, to simply be known and recognized as a voice of comfort amidst the wails of confusion. I wish more "Just Plain Folks" as well as the anonymnous visitors would take the time to comment here. Comments are the only royalties that truly matter in the long run, the rest is all ex-spend-able.~~LOL ~~~MFB III

M.
That brought tears to my eyes. For me, being heard and seen, for someone to take the time to notice...that is a wonderful thing.
Sometimes our poems and songs are our hearts on the page and for someone to take the time read them, let alone be inspired by their words is a beautiful moment indeed!!
Thank You for your poem.

Hi
well I love the display of Pins? -- great stuff.... the guitar does sound better in this one and your vocal has a nice quality.
I'm guessing you are not planning on revisiting the lyric on this one since it is about a person and past times. Thanks for sharing your art. jm

Hi Joice, thanks for checking in, the lyrics are still open for adding to or editing from the content. The past can really only be changed by in the songs we sing about it, the rest is fate. Glad you enjoyed.~~~MFB III
