I am a female singer/songwriter near Nashville who would be interested in co-writing/collaborating. I have lived in Nashville for a while but have not been active in the local scene for a few years - was a member of NSAI in college. My voice has been described melodic alto/2nd soprano voice and I enjoy writing and singing in all styles. Would love to find someone who plays guitar and writes who might be looking for a singer. I am also open to duets and to singing songs for a writer who doesn't sing. It would be fun to get together and write or go out to local writers nights together. Let me know if you are interested! MsWonderland Have you been to Doak Turner's third Sunday get together? Sunday at Doaks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuBTnnibhSMBTW If you watch the video that's me sitting on the couch at 1 minute 23 seconds. Don't believe the camera though. I think it added about twenty pounds. Marc Burnette comes in right after that. So far I have made only one contact interested in starting this group. You are the second. The other person has so far decided they have too many personal problems at the moment to participate. I am not sure what the secret is to starting a group like this. It doesn't seem to promising. Doak's is a much bigger group than I would want. It is also more about meeting and networking. I am more interested in actually writing and working on songs.
