Well, since the only active chapter in your area is the Boston one, I would go with that. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif)

Yes, there is a Western Mass. You can belong to more than one.

To contact a chapter coordinator fill out the form at the bottom of the chapters page. Press the chapters tab on the home page or click here: http://www.jpfolks.com/Chapters/index.html Your information will be forwarded to the nearest chapter coordinator who will get in touch with you via email.

The Western MA Chapter is the most active chapter of the three mentioned above, in my opinion. And Marty Helly, the coordinator, is often hanging out on the boards.
Also, any JPF event anywhere, is open to members from everywhere...

I live in Quechee Vermont and would like to start a Songwriters Club up this way. Can you give me some tips on the best way to start? Maybe you have room for another chapter. I'm also wondering if each chapter can set up thier own forum through JPF. It would really enhance communications. There are 15 or 20 really good songwriters up here and I'd like to provide a good communications tool. Are there any fees involved? I also publish a bi-weekly newsletter called "Music Lovers" that features Music, Theater, Art and Dance Events in the Upper Valley. We email to 1400 people. We also have a web site www.yellowhousemedia.com where we stream music from local songwriters to help them promote their live performances. I'm prepared to be a board coordinator for the State of Vermont if you still need someone. Lets talk! Thanks - Dave Clark

Dave,
Hang around the site more often and when we launch some new chapters we'll be happy to include you.
