Ah, find all the media attention about Australian's being overweight are really annoying. Who cares that we are overweight, as long as we're happy and living life to the fullest. Life would be too dull if you're worried about your well being all the time. Iim talking about the news stories and the commercial thats going commercial around. What are your views on the Overweight issues? even if u are outside Australia?

It's a bad thing to be overweight... it leads to gluttony and that is a SIN... and God will be forced to punish you....

It always astonishes me that we are encouraged by the government, media, doctors, and health authorities to eat a healthy diet and lose weight, and yet the healthy food is always the most expensive! Most families are struggling financially and so to stretch the budget and still have enough to eat, we buy low cost foods which are also usually high in carbohydrates fats (rice, pasta, bread, low-grade mince, etc). Fruit and vegetables are really expensive, even at places like Coles and Woolworths, and anything that is tagged at 'Low Fat' or 'Organic' or a 'Health Food' is out of the price range for alot of people.

Yes I've experienced that as well. I feel that the quicker, easier fast food is the only option, as I'm constantly being rushed all the time and doesn't allow me to cook healthier meals. The prices doesn't exactly make me keen either.

"If someone is truly a jerk, or truly is not deserving of any positive reply from you, polite indifference is the best response you can give. Do not insult. Do not slam. Do not follow the urge to be nasty. Simply be politely indifferent." –Brian Austin Whitney
