Hey Ya'll,
I was just looking at some of the recent posts and haven't seen or heard anything from Stan Good.....anyone know how he made out at the awards and is he back?
I sure hope he's ok!

Havnt heard anything as of yet but I will try him on his cell today. Go to the first post on this page the General Message board.Then go to Brian's post "Im off to Hollywood......" there you will find conversation about the build up and a quick review of the awards. No winners are announced yet but something has to come out soon.They're saying it was an awsome event though. Maybe we can make a group trip next year. Just an idea. See Ya, Al

Fellow Folks,
I couldnt stand it any longer so at 11:30 our time I called Stan. Hes staying in the Los Angeles area untill Saturday before coming home. Says the Awards were great and is collaborating this week with a couple of other writers he's met. And the really great news is that out of the over 500 lyrics submitted, whittled down to 20 finalists, Tampa Stan Good has finished tied for 6th place. What a great accomplishment for Stan and a feather in the cap of our local chapter! Ill leave the rest for Stan to share when we see him at our next meeting March the 9th at Johnny G's. Please dont forget to bring a friend if you can, as this is a time for growth. Al
