Howdy!
I have two Strats -- an American Deluxe in Cherry Burst, and an American Standard, Black, and light as a feather. These are #1 on my list. #2 on my list is an Ibanez Artcore AF85 hollow body which literally kicks ass when it comes to rock-a-billy or anything by the Nuge (Ted Nugent).

Although I'm playing Les Pauls alot lately (they work for the Mojo Gurus music quite well), I believe my soul will always belong to the Fender Stratocaster...

me personally I have 16 but the of the crop are 63 tele ash body maple neck and my all time love machine 1969 les paul custom with 59's it will do what ever you want it to as for acoustic I have a 38 gibson gospel type it is one hell a spruce boxmadfe and a 64epiphone j600 on pickup

My favorite guitar was a 1946 Gibson acoustic I bought in a pawn shop in El Paso back in 1969. It has a small neck and I gave it to my sister 20 years ago because she has small hands. I would like to get it back but I don't have the moxy to tell her so, Judi if you are reading this.....
I bought the best Ovation the company made back in 1977 and still have it. I think I paid $700 for it and I couldn't get that for it now probably-that was my worst investment. About 20 years ago I bought a white Japanese tele and played it in a band for about 10 years. Folks have offered to buy it recently. Apparently the craftsmanship in the Japanese tellies in the mid 80's was pretty good. I never pampered it. I was a workhorse and except for a tiny chip near the knobs, it is flawless.
The guitar I play the most is a pawnshop guitar that nobody can identify. I got a call from a friend who said, "You need to come down to the Crowley Pawn shop (Crowley Texas) because they have this amazing sounding guitar for $100 with the case. I bought it and put a pickup and EQ in it and I play it live. the guy who did the electronics said it was a Martin kit. That guitar stays in tune better than any guitar I have ever owned.
I bought my son a Chinese 3/4 size guitar a couple of months ago and it sounds great doing acoustic leads. It has this amazing sustain and presence and all the notes have equal projection. It is really fun to play. I went into Rusty's Guitars who has been around for 50 years and ask what the best small guitar was. He said you can pay $1000 for a Martin or $80 for a cheapie that sounds like crap and doesn't even have a truss rod; Or for for $95 you can get these puppies and they are almost as good as the Martins. He set the strings and did the intonation and threw in a strap, I walked out of the shop at $105 including Texas sales tax. My son loves it-almost as much as Guitar Hero III.

Yep, like my Tel, too. When I was playing in Europe, back in the 70's and 80's, had an original '54 Tele that I bought from a drugged out guy from Hungary for $400.00. Sold it for almost $5,000.00...wish I hadn't.
Two ther giutars that I really liked for playing jazz, that I also had while in Europe, were a Gibson ES 175 and a Gibson DC 150 (there aren't many of those 150's around...had mine shipped directly from Kalamazoo to Pirmasens, Germany.)
Currently: A late 80's model Wasburn Acoustic, Alverez amplified acoustic, & Fender HH FMT Tele. I like all 3 of them.
If I could afford it, an original Thinline Tele.

My all-time favorite guitar has been my '53 tele that I have played for over 30 years, but I have retired it and just recently bought a Mexican tele because I miss playing my old one out in public. My new tele is a fine guitar that I bought in factory new condition from a school girl who couldn't have played it for more than two weeks before giving up on it. It came with an excellent string height setup, and I gave it an intonation setup right away. It has been played so little that I haven't even changed the strings yet, and I am sure it came from the store with the ones it has!
In recent years I have played almost exclusively finger-picked acoustic guitar and in June I got a Collings 000-2H which is one of the finest guitars I have ever had the pleasure to play. I have other guitars, but my old tele and my Collings mean everything to me.

I played a '81 Gibson Flying V2 for twelve years and it was the most versatile guitar I've ever owned... that one would be a keeper if I hadn't given to my son, who sold it in a pawn shop in Seattle. I had a '52 reissue MIJ Fender Esquire for about seven years... hot little axe for only having one pick-up. I sold that one in a pawn shop in Bozeman, MT. The best ones always seem to get away. I have a Chandler Strat Copy I bought new in Salinas, CA which has been my main axe for fifteen years now... EMG pickups... it can do just about everything.

Strats and Teles, depending on what style I am playing.
I have a '66 Guild Starfire IV (similar to a Gibson ES-335) that is awfully sweet.

I like lespaul guitar..This guitar fits my musical tastes perfect. I mostly play classic rock, but it suits punk, blues, and metal perfect as well.This guitar is a beast! It is so bulky and feels like it can survive anything you can dish at it. Very very solid, I would definetely gig with this guitar. The finish is very very solid as well, and looks like it will last me a long long time.
