Looking forward to getting stuck into some songwriting, this looks like a great place to connect with like minded people (I don't know too many where I am). Anyone else doing the national songwriting month thing? (website)I think they should call it "A Song a Day in May."

Welcome aboard MDuther! I wrote a song with a New Zealander years ago. Her name was Julia Davis. She had an unusually pleasant singing voice. Kind of a Marlene Dietrich voice ala Destry Rides Again". Anyway, I'm sure you'll find some good collaborators here. A lot of good people on JPF. Best, John

Good to have you! Cheers man! Have you heard Liam Finn's (son of Neil Finn) latest solo album? Bit different but I like it. Snug as $#%@, the new single.

Sorry I'm late, MDuthie:
So glad you decided to participate here at JPF. I never had the opportunity to see your fantastic country but one never knows. Don't be shy... let us know if you have problems navigating the site or whatever. Plenty of great folks here. Welcome aboard.

Hi MDuthie. I'm in Tauranga. Participated in FAWM which is 15 songs in the month and am still sorting and finishing those songs. Seems a lot of nice people here. Cheers. Richard.
