Columbus chapter? - 11/23/12 06:19 PM

Just putting out a feeler to see if there are any Columbus people out there...

Just found this forum, looks like our founder, Brian, has done a ton of work on this, shout outs to you Brian and I hope you have recovered from your illness.

Wenda,

We're going strong, but we've never had an active Columbus Chapter, though we are always open to it if someone steps up to lead one. We just need a volunteer coordinator and at least 10 interests musicians and/or songwriters to start one up. Let me know if you are interested!

Thanks

Brian-
Hi- I moved here from Idaho and would be interested in starting a chapter here in Chillicothe, Ohio- There are tons of musicians here so if you need a coordinator to get it started I would be interested--really interested!
Thanks
Tim

Tim, if you're still around, I see the Ross County Folk Society (name?) meets the first and third Wednesdays at 17 East Main (address?) in Chillicothe and it sounds like they do more than folk. They're still around in 2019.

There's a First Friday Blues Jam at Port City Pub and Cafe, in Portsmouth.

There's a Nashville Songwriter's Association International chapter in Portsmouth too. Monthly meetings.
