Home recording has put the great band in the back seat.

We can do it all ourselves, but are we supposed to?

Stones, E Street, Old WHO. id put them up against any live rock band. Although the who did alot of overdubbing, Townshend was a master in the studio, and they were a great performing band live. Sometimes you miss the dubs though

Being a great live band is more than the music too.

Been listening to Carolina Chocolate Drops, the Ragpickers, the Bruce Katz Band, and the David Nelson Band a lot lately.

They all really make it happen, live or Memorex.

I know people will think I'm crazy but I loved how America arranged their songs. I remember the first time I heard Horse With No Name and couldn't sleep that night because that damn song was in my noggin...lol
