The demos for everything else can be as simple as a guitar / vocal.

Our out of town members will be played first (tucson, prescott, etc).

Also, if you have a gig or other event you need to go to, let us know and we will do our best to get your song heard as early as possible!

If anyone wants to jam or perform some songs after the meeting,

our SHH Gallery hosts, Jody Gnant and Scott Hoel, have offered an open stage at the gallery!!

NSAI in TUCSON

Duncan Stitt has volunteered to keep the NSAI Tucson Chapter rollin’ for a while.

For more info, you can contact Duncan at duncan@theriver.com .

Hey,

NSAI workshop this Monday at Greenfire, 925 E. Ft. Lowell, 7 PM. This month the lesson plan will deal with prosody, which is the marriage of words to music. For those of you who don't believe in marriage, consider it a LTR of sorts, at least until you do another re-write. Of course, LTR's are based on compatibility. Or convenience. Or money.

(Think Anna Nicole Smith) If you want your song to last longer than a one night stand, consider making prosody, (and communication, and not forgetting her birthday) a priority.

Bring a few lyric sheets if you'd like to do a song for the group critique session. I will be subbing for Denny again this month, so please come and put in your 2 cents. (Some are born to lead, some are born to follow, and some are born to collect pennies. I have quite a few pennies, but can one ever have enough pennies?)

A penny for your thoughts.

Duncan
