Here is one of my songs.
Rough demo: My voice +ukulele

Remark: this song was and is intended for a female singer.
I can imagine an international star female singer performing this song.

Intro: 4 bars (Key of G)

It's not that I am anxious
It's not that I am scared
It's not that I am afraid
But I need some company tonight

I've just turn off the TV
Switch on the radio
I've heard that song from Rio
Said I need a friend with me tonight

Could you just hold me tonight
Give me the feeling that ev'rything's alright
Could you just hold me tonight
Bring me your sweet tone for I won't stay alone
Tonight. .... .... ....

You know I'm not too selfish
You know I really care
You know I'm not in despair
But I need someone to hold me tight

Could you just hold me tonight
Give me the feeling that ev'rything's alright
Could you just hold me tonight
Bring me your sweet tone for I won't stay alone

I don't want sympathy or help
Don't pray you to be mine
If you would be of any help
Your arms will do just fine

Could you just hold me tonight
Give me the feeling that ev'rything's alright
Could you just hold me tonight
Bring me your sweet tone for I won't stay alone
Tonight. ....

Could you just hold me tonight
Give me the feeling that ev'rything's alright
Could you just hold me tonight
Bring me your sweet tone for I won't stay alone
Tonight. ....

Could you just hold me tonight
Could you just hold me tonight
Tonight. .... .

Hi Guy,

Love your ukulele (wow that's a hard word to spell without spellcheck!) playing. This is a lovely song and pretty good for a draft.

I really enjoyed the listen.
