WHO'S HAD HIS HEAD ON MY PILLOW
C
Who's had his head on my pillow
smouldering in that after glow
His arm across your naked breasts
with your arm caressing his chest?

Who's had his head on my pillow
cigarettes, coffee before he goes
You purring, he'll feel so impressed
self satisfied thinking he's your best?

V
Just another stray you've taken in
for a while you'll more than happy to oblige him
Then when he thinks he's there to stay
tail will go 'tween his leg - bye, just another lay
B
He'll be rocked to the bone
ego dropping like a stone
But I love you, he'll tell you
As his tears hit my pillow
hey! Thats my pillow you know

One day you'll find you're all alone
when word circulates, that womens a no good zone
No man to lay your cruel head on his chest
maybe you'll start thinking, I gave up the best?

WHO'S HAD HIS HEAD ON MY PILLOW
C
Who's had his head on my pillow
smouldering in that after glow
His arm across her breast
her arm over his chest.

Who's had his head on my pillow
cigarettes and coffee before he goes
Her sighs saying she's impressed
His look, thinking he's her best

V
But he's another stray she's taken in
for a while she'll take care of him
Then just when he thinks he's there to stay
she'll send him away, pick up another stray
B
And like me he'll be rocked to the bone
when she drops him like a hot stone
Deletes him from her life, moves on
gone

V.

One day she'll find that she's all alone
maybe kept my number on her phone?
She might picture her head on my shoulder
but I'm not stupid, just a little wiser

Hi John,
This is a good hook. I think it would be much better if you talked to her in person. Instead of her and she, "You", and I think this line should read man instead of stray so you don't use it twice. But he's another "MAN" she's taken in

Most songs are about relationships; this one is a bit of a different ball game. Subjects trusts this woman then apparently finds out that she is a runaround. The female equivalent of a casanova. This is my take on this one.
