Thanks Aaron, even though those sentiments are not mine, it was inspiring to listen to that word craft. I can't quote all the images and incites that flew thru during his rapid-fire performance, but he hit well, hard and almost bit (loved that). I'm loosing patience though for the music/art/style that can meld the best of hip hop and music. It won't be the same of course, but I have visions of the NEXT level.

Hey Pam, Yeah I don't really either but d'man got skillz.. HAHA
I don't want to sound like a weirdo or preacher or anything but I think people are confused IMO God and the devil are the same thing IMO energy is GOD which means everything has a piece of it. What is good without bad? We will never be able to conceive the level on which he works. I only use the word GOD so everyone know what I am talking about. I am sure aliens have a god. It's the same as ours. He allows us to build life as we want to perceive it. Although a great many lessons do come from mans, Bible, Kuran ,Bhagavad Gita any other religions without sacred text. They all say the same thing it's just to bad no one really cares about it. Religion has killed 1000's of times more people then anything else in the world. Money is a catching up though I think. I am a believer in the highest power for sure. Why do we loose 7 grams the second we die? Energy?

Aaron,
(Note: At first I only listened and watched thinking it was you in the video... but afterwards I read the rest of it all and see that it's not you. Did you have anything to do with this work? I responded as if you did, so keep that in mind below).
First off, excellent no budget video. You create an ominous setting, your look is excellent and evil and depraved looking. Once you start having stuff served to you, I HAD to see where it ended up. You could have gone all horror show and had a fake head served on a platter, but that would have been overkill (pardon the pun) and would have turned it comical to those used to the horror genre. Instead this captured the suggestion of what you were eating, served as a cannibal might eat it. Having your serving girl further added to the set up. The look, feel and delivery and having you eat during the chorus was a great idea.
Now, could it be better? Sure. I'd improve the quality of the place setting and everything on the table (including minor things like the paper the plate is sitting on) and upgrade some similar aspects of the setting, but the instinct was correct and the video served it's purpose.
I think the delivery of the song was fine, but the lyrics were a bit gratuitous and lazy, even though some lines were perfect as is. Using expletives is perfectly fine, but they shouldn't be a substitute for better writing, imagery, storytelling and prose. The story of the song and action in the video were hard core enough. Any schmuck and drop F bombs.. that doesn't make you hardcore or interesting and when overused, just seems like lazy writing.
So, with the audio down, the video works well. I could infer what was going on for the most part without hearing the music, though a few tweaks might have improved that. Your video should work with the music off as its own piece of art. If you think in those terms, and tweak it a little, you'll see a vast improvement. With the sound up, your delivery is excellent. Just give yourself some better lyrics and economy of expletives to drill home a point and not to fill an empty line.
Overall, as a video in your genre, nice job. -Brian
