Like most times,,,it's not the samples, it's HOW they're played!
And, as you play Marvelously, I am SURE any new sample will be great to many if not close to all ears, (no one gets 100%), but it matters HOW they are played!
Some can make old key strings or horns sound decent and likeable,,,getting the point across,,,for HOW they are played. And WHAT is being played, Music Wise.
A while ago McCartney was asked what kind of strings he uses for the bass and guitars. He said "whatever" strings, they'll all work! It was he that I read saying it's HOW you play them and what you play that matters.

Hey Johnny, Yes, I think we should get the most out of what we have. I remember some recordings I heard on the Tascam Porta One studio (4-track cassette recorder). I wondered how they achieved such a high quality recording on such a low grade recorder. And songs that were recorded long before this technology craze like “He’s A Rebel” are amazing recordings. Though I think of samples as in terms of cooking. Using identical chefs, the better ingredients used in the stew the tastier. John

And who deserves them more? If they had any sense they would pay you to take them!

Had a quick look at the reviews it seems pretty good. If you can put good use to it and can afford it go for it. There are tons of synth VST on the market so it is all down to personal preference the job you want done and affordability. You may want to take a look at G force and in particular the oddity which retails at similar price http://www.gforcesoftware.com/productshttp://www.gforcesoftware.com/gshop/products/oddity-download

I have an ancient Tascam recording eq from years back with a broken tape deck that I have used for mixing purposes. I do everything hand fed. But there are certain ways that people like more even though I don't look on how many like what I do as much as what I like to do for what I feel passionate about. I look for modifications since I prefer that people like it.
Synth pop and new wave was my first love even though I am looking for something more classic rock driven. But I would also like some of what might make that more palatable. My beats are not what people are going to like in my recordings. That is going to hamper me yet I want to feel real in it. But having a bit to make it better to the listener can't be dismissed either.
I would like to bring some recordings to members that have that knack.

"If one man can do it, any man can do it. It is true. But the real question is, if one man did it, are you willing to do what it takes to do it as well?" –Brian Austin Whitney
