Definitely a musical play tune (it could have fit in "Wicked" somewhere). Dawn did a good job on the vocals. Good writing and music.

This is a nice song. The singer's voice is perfect for the song and the piano fits the song. Very theatrical.

Hi Dan,
It is very theatrical. I adore the vocals. I wasn't sure how it was going to go over, I had to wrap my head around it not being what I typically get involved in. I listened 6 times, by the end of the hour I was fully engulfed with the vision the song gives. It's so different for me, Jackie has a wonderful imagination, I'm so glad she allowed me to be part of this. Nadia kicks butt in piano, too. I love listening to her talent here. The first couple times I listened I listened solely to the music. Then the vocals. The vocals stunned me. I was told she had a beautiful voice but this is more than I thought it would be.

WOW, so many nice comments! Thank you to everyone who listened, commented and shared ideas. I'm delighted that you agree that Dawn's vocals are beautiful. It is a true pleasure to collaborate with her. Dawn gives her heart and soul to every song she is singing and she creates beautiful music and lyrics. Jackie and Caroline, it was totally fantastic to work on the music for your inspiring lyrics! I had a shorter version for my music but after a lot of thinking and trying to persuade myself that the music should be shortened I just went back to the first version I've managed to record. It did take a while to record the first version and the others too but I just felt the longer version had the fairy feel in it. I'm so glad you all feel it's a musical, I can imagine it as a musical too. Thank you again to everyone for your support, it is very inspiring for me.
