I thought I was listening to Jim Croce when the song began. Nice lyrics and melody. Good playing and singing. There's nothing I don't like about this one. A real fine job. I'll bet this gets sung around the Christmas tree in your home.

That's real good. I like everything about it. I don't do Xmas but I love Xmas songs. There aren't many good new ones but this one is.
Many years ago, I had a chance meeting on the street with a juvenile delinquent I knew, so I asked him if he was out of school for Xmas break and he beamed when he said "Yes, I'm a Xmas time wild boy." I've thought about writing that but I won't.

Lowell has a very recordable and easy to listen to voice I think, and his picking is easy on the ears. Wow, that was just gorgeous...we should be hearing this on the radio every Christmas season. Super sound on the recording...crisp, clear, well balances...everything just right!
As I listened, I heard this being sung (in my empty head) by two different people: first, James Taylor in the Pop-Folk arena and Alan Jackson in the Country arena. I doubt a better Christmas song could be written for Alan Jasckson.
That was a real treat!!! Thansk for putting it up for us to listen to. Hope you have a great holiday!

The great melody comes across. Hard to write good Christmas songs, but this is one. My only complaint is that the intro is too long.

Terrific Song! Is that your Brother singing his song.
He has an unusual voice for today and I LOVE IT.
SO Many Great Singer Songwriters fall by the wayside in this Shark Infested Business.....So Sad.....
Singer Songwriters are NOT in vogue today.....even if a singers name is on as writer there are usually three others on there too....It stinks in my opinion.
