This is an example of one way the electric harp can sound.

Is it new age?

WOW...I was Totally Blown-Away by both the Sound AND The Performance here!!! Totally GORGEOUS!!!!!

Definitely made me wanna see & hear More... (&..for me, the Humorous side is I'm a Clockmaker...& Didn't Know too much about Coldplay OR that they'd titled this Beautiful Piece, which I WAS familiar with hearing on the radio.."Clocks".)

So, after one more "BRAVO", I'm off to Google the Lyrics!

Thanks for Sharing this WONDERFUL Performance, and Welcome to JPF!!! "Encore..Encore" I'll Add!

Roses, Big Hugs & Best Wishes,
Stan

OK thanks Stan and Calvin or anyone else, but I still would like to know... is this "New Age" music, or does it succeed as some form of pop/rock?? I'm too inside it to know.

Given the three choices, I'd call it New Age.

Write from your heart, not what you think others want to hear.

Hi Again Mz W!

I'll agree with Dan...tho I never really DID figure out what New Age's Parameters WERE exactly...(Tho "Techno" seemed a lot Easier-to-Define when IT arrived....)

I'm at the Old Age where Carpal Tunnel and Trigger-Finger(s) have become a Reality... Sure Admire Your Dexterity & Fluidity on that Incredible Harp You're Playing...& "BRAVO" Again!

Additional Best Wishes,
Stan

PS: Coldplay's Lyrics weren't Overly-Inspiring (Sigh!) which I guess is Yet-Another-Sign that I'm aging-fast....heh!

Thanks, Dan. Is there another genre that you would peg it as? ...Alternative? folkpop? I donno what?

I guess I should listen to some New Age to see what people mean.

Thank Stan. Maybe the harp is just new age, period (lol).

Any chance you'd listen to the second video I put up?

Thank you for the kind words.

Best regards,
Wenda

Wenda, You're an excellent Harpist. You sing well. I won't pigeon-hole you. That would be a disservice. Just make the music you want to make, would be my advice.

:)nice.
beautiful playing and singing, too. I like the subtle backing track. the video itself is a bit static. I also would like to see your face straight on instead of you having to turn your head sideways every few minutes. but whatever...you've obviously put a lot of work into this, since its really good. balance of voice & instruments is good. pro mixing job, I believe.
