Greetings! Once again I come back to this forum full of self-titled 'lurkers' hoping to get pin point answers (if any) to my pin-pointed needs and maybe finding that 'lurker' who'll fit the bill I seek a Singing Guitarist partner to complete a DUO in the genre of the BLUES ... nothing else ... just the BLUES. - targeted to BLUES audiences, - in BLUES venues, - on BLUES radio broadcasts, - BLUES competitions and BLUES parties etc etc ... The person I seek: - will be able to rehearse from 9-5, - be completely self-sufficient with equipment & transportation, - will have ZERO substance abuse issues, - will be willing to work when the bell tolls and travel (with me) around the state. In other words, I need a man with no restrictions who wants another 'kick at the can' before times' up. All material, all PA and rehearsal space, will be made available to you. Private rehearsal studio in Clearwater. Please, I've advertised before and got some negative response because I knew what I wanted and what I needed. Whaz up wit dat??? Since I moved here in 2001, I've had wrist reconstructions, knee replacements and shoulder surgeries ... one right after the other - effectively taking me out of the business I was in full-time for over 4 decades. Well, here I am again! This time admitting my need for a partner to share duties in a very genre specific discipline of the BLUES. All I ask is for is your harmony/backup vocals and rhythm/solo abilities - I'll do everything else. BTW ... it's much more than just white boy 1-4-5. So ... if I could find someone who has 'walked in my shoes' it would be a great benefit to both of us as communication would be the best. A well worn understanding of the music business would stop a lot of petty little arguments and a real 'show' could be had. I have lofty goals for 2013 of my own written & published works and will reward my partner with appropriate pay and respect. No, I've never been a 'star' but I have been at the upper echelons of roadhouse/bar room performance in USA & Canada + secured European recording contracts in West Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Thanks for taking the time to read and best of everything to all of yaz!
