I came up with this hook and chorus while shopping at Walmart..I write many songs there, such inspiration at that store..LOL!! Danny understood the story I wanted to convey and he wrote the verses, I finished it with a bridge. The melody was very inspired by Allison Krauss and the song "Miles to Go", it sounds NOTHING like it, just a direction I wanted to go in. I made the melody and chorded the song. I was so lucky to have Joro (Joe Rogier) do the music and mix this for me and I thank him from the bottom of my heart because this song was very hard to get someone to believe in its potential, he did a wonderful job! I also loved singing with myself and myself for the chorus!! LOL!! Excellent stuff Tammy. I like the whole metaphor of the lyric and the melody/accompaniment is special. Love the harmonies in the chorus. Well done.

Awesome chorus!!! The song's chorus and harmony gave me a bit of a jolt!!!!..... I mean, the verses lead to the chorus nicely, but they are a bit "quiet", in comparison to this bright and lively chorus. Maybe a diffrent musical arrangement might add some pepper to the verses. I would definetly keep this on the burner, until you are totally satisfied. Sincerely..... -Tom

Stevie...
Danny and I love the multiple meaning of the lyric, which was done intentionally, I am so happy that you can appreciate that!! Thanks for listening!

You are welcome...my pleasure. I agree that the arrangement should be expanded but, I think Tammy likes it the way it is and it's her song so that's that. I liked this one a lot...cool dynamics cool lyrics.

Hi Tammy and Danny, Tammy, what an awesome, awesome hook! I sure wish I had thought of it. I love the melody, your vocal it's all very good and perfect for the lyric. Danny, I think you did a great job on this lyric. Nothing looks out of place to me. You two have done it again, congrats!!! Dottie

Hi TamsNumber4. You sing very well with youreself. I've noticed a big improvment in your harmonys. Nice music and mix on Joe's part.

The chorus is killer. The verses sounded a little too somber for me but the chorus made up for it.

Tom,
I understand your concern, I was going for that bluegrass crossover sound. It won't be everyone's cup of tea, but always so happy you gave it a listen my friend!

Michael,
I was just at Walmart, I didn't write a song, but I thought about what you said and took a good look at the folks around me and had a very good giggle, thanks for that and for always lending an ear!

Hi Steevie,
Glad you enjoyed the song. Tammy and I had a good time working with all of the little playes on idea of being framed. She did a great job on the songcrafting and it was so easy to write to such a great chorus.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on this one.

Excellent song, great singing and absolutely brilliant lyrics I can visualize this song coming out strong in a number of styles from folksy to a full-band arrangement even, it's a lovely wine if you can drink it with many different dishes

I loved the song, very fine playing and singing, this one remind me of Joni Mitchell, that is a (very) good thing in my opinion ;-)
