No matter what they say...

An experiment mixing female vocals, ambient, electronica and dubstep accents. Don't expect this to be a New Age song from me (this time ;-)

And yes, the video has RATS. If you are afraid, look closer you might find them cute. I have myself two Tuula and Ritva (aka fufunchis) and they and their friends from Piece of Heaven Rattery are the stars in the videoclip that you can watch in my youtube channel.

I enjoyed the video Priscilla. The rats were cute up close. Now I wonder why we kill them. The one who kisses you while you're playing the flute. I'm curious how you did that. The music and vocal was mesmerising and enjoyable. You do have a unique genre. I've seen your previous videos and hope you make it back to the US without the unfortunate hassle that you experienced before. If I remember correctly, some of your equipment was stolen during your last tour.

No matter what they say, It might suit you better if the vocal was brought out a bit more in the mix. Yes the video was seductive and the music is very pleasing. As for me, I like the vocal to stand out a bit more. Your voice is worth listening to. I enjoyed the song. Other than that, I have nothing more to say.

I have to agree with Danny. It sounds good but I can't hear the vocal though it sounds like you have a very good voice.

I love fairies!! I wrote If I Had Fairy Wings against a lot of criticism with Caroline Holder. We are still tweaking it.

I realized the vocals might sound a bit back in the youtube video but seem quite right in the wav, still this is an experiment very different from my usual genre, and well it rendered as it was LOL
how I did the flute and kissing, I have two pet rats, my two rats TUULA AND RITVA are among the others in the video, and rats like pets are like little dogs, they stalk, and lick you and kiss you and it's quite easy to work with them they even spin and fetch a ball LOL
Jackie I went to your site but coudln't find the lyric you refer to I'm actually not collaborating vocally as I sing always my own written stuff for now, I consider myself more a lyricist/songwriter than a vocalist, I gave a try to sing because I found noone else back in the time, at the end I found out that I love singing, but what I love is composing thank you though, I feel so honored you consider and sure i'd love to check the lyrics

about the video, it was pretty simple setting, made in my house and my local street compared with other videos we´ve made like "off the lane" that we had to look for locations it was simpler and easier but the rats were stealing the "camera" all the time and I think it worked LOL it was way fun

Excellent video quality and song. Yea, the rats are sort of weird (ha, ha) -- but you have good stuff going on.

is taht you singing Jackie? why would you want me to sing it anyway? you got a beautiful voice yourself I started out a bit a bit as the same, I liked my songwriting but I was unsure about my voice and looked for a vocalist, then I found I loved it and kept on learning. any advice I could provide about that just ask

Kevin, that's the point, rats are not weird at all, they´re smart, loving, playful and amazing, of course when they´re in good conditions and breeding controlled, beauty can be found in unexpected sources
