Kinda jazz, kinda not. Sung/spoken vocals along the lines of Leonard Cohen or Lou Reed. And clawhammer-style snap-and pop-guitar that I tried to make swing. I hope that you check it out and that you like it. "Past Tense" This one is also from my upcoming EP (being released next week)!

Nice intro. The guitar tone is great and that's a cool little riff you got going. I'm dig'n that "clawhammer-style snap-and pop".
This would bring the house down in a live set.
Good luck with the EP.

Love the riff! Had some trouble hearing the lyrics, but that may be due to the live recording.
I'm not hearing pop, though. More like singer/songwriter with blues/(Southern)rock influences. Dave Matthews comes to mind as an artist with a similar vibe (his AOL sessions).
I like it.

I always know when I see a chicken riding a bike, that I'm in for a treat and I was, really great stuff!
