Please visit my blog and tell me how it looks to you. The link is http://ez3dpopups.blogspot.com I am designing it to help beginners ( of all ages) to learn to create Origamic Architecture and pop up cards. It has templates and some instructions and a video I made on my phone camera (in not very good lighting which I will redo later.) Anyway, if you are clicking around, please try it out. (Not a contest and you don't have to join.)

Thanks, Tom. There are some great resources links there on the side for advanced cutters. I want my niche to be for beginners and to lead them to the intermediate stages. I have a few more patterns for the Origamic Architecture basics to put up and then I will start the beginning Popup card series.

Busy hands happy hearts...well you must be happy since they are some busy hands. These are really neat Jean and I wish you well w/both your blog and your business. Maybe I'll be reading about you in one of those entreprenurial magazines!! I always enjoyed the pop up books when reading or teaching kids and the cards are great!! Only little thing I noticed since you were looking for any things that "popped out" (pun intended) would be on your left side under your "About Me" there are a couple words that are broken before the word is completed or not a syllable break when going to the next line, which is minor, but if you are wanting it to be easily read...the word "welcome" and "Pop up" if you read down that column. May not be fixable but may be. Otherwise things look great and hope you're a happy ever after crafter!!! Best, Lynn

Thanks, Lynn. I noticed that too. It doesn't happen on my Mac but I noticed it on a PC computer. I will see if I can fix it.

I deleted the picture that was in my profile and it looks like that fixed it. I will try to put in a separate image and see if that fixes it.

Are you leaving us for origami? I hope not!
Actually there is a film on this on Netflix I have been meaning to watch. Are you familiar with what I am talking about Jean?
Feel free to create something here as well (you can even repost or tease your blog if you like).
Good luck! Brian

Thanks, Brian. No, I am not leaving you for Origami but Origamic Architecture will be taking up a lot of my time because of my blog. I'm still into music and JPF will always be dear to me. School is also keeping me very busy since I switched schools and started teaching Art instead of Technology (in addition to Music and Square Dancing. I usually can post more during vacations and then I kind of go underground.
I think I know the film you are talking about but I think the film is strictly about Origami. What I am into is not pure origami which doesn't involve cutting. It was called Origamic architecture because the concept was created to show architectural forms and included elaborate folding. Nowadays any popup that is cut from one sheet of paper and not glued is included in the definition. It was a rather rare art form for a time but it is catching on and the number of excellent Origamic Architecture artists is growing. Thanks for the share on FB.
