Is there any difference between and ISRC and an ISW C?

As I understand it, the ISRC identifies a particular sound or music video recording itself whereas the ISWC uniquely identifies the song. No expert on this....to me it distinguishes between the actual performance/arrangement from the melody.

Got the answer...
Both are digitally encoded numbers in the metadata of digital music. However, the key difference is that the ISWC is used to identify the underlying song- the musical composition, lyrics etc; whereas the ISRC is used in the identification of sound recordings- the embodiment of the song in a recording.
