"Waves Of The Danube" - 2:46 (Losifd Ivanovici) 1880 PD
I have included this beautiful song as the only cover song on my new CD. It's also recognized as "The Anniversary Song" That song is performed in my favorite movie of all time "The Jolson Story" It's so incredibly touching that I just had to try it myself and share it and help keep it alive for the composer.
Oh Man,,,every time I hear your version of that beautiful song, it feels me with such great feelings, as much as when I hear Al Jolson singing it for the movie. Great work! Inspiring!
Man, I was listening and thinking how beautiful that sounded. Then the chorus hit and you started harmonizing on the acoustic guitars and I just melted

Thanks John
I'm so glad you have those two movies now as well. They are so charming and endearing I watch them over & over once each week practically.
Beautiful piece of music.
Funny story a GREAT friend of mine was over here helping me track the accordion with Nick. I didn't know he had NEVER heard this piece before. So he's see';s me showing stuff to Nick and Nick playing it like he's known it his whole life (which he has) lol
Two days later my friend is at work at his music store with Nick visiting and others in the store. He starts telling the others that me & Nick were incredible in the studio the other night. And he's knew I was a real good, and created some great tunes but didn't realize I was a genius in writing this song. And that it was timeless and could be a classic. Nick and the others paused and started laughing out loud and told him what the song was LOL
We all had a good laugh, then I thanked him for the AWESOME compliment and flattery. He told me, I thought it was you, you're that good. lol I was like NO I'm not but thanks for even making the mistake lol

Scott when I was recording this I thought of YOU! For reals!! I knew, money betting knew that you would love this piece.
Melody has been on my mind a lot lately as I have been playing 70 and 80-year-old songs from the original sheet music. This is a beautiful melody and you and your friends played it beautifully.

Thanks for sharing a piece that could easily have been the real film music, that GREAT!!! I skipped dessert at dinner but my ears just had theirs and it was delish!!!! I'm feeling Godfatherish for some reason. You "covered" this perfectly (pun intended). Applause for you and your friends!!! Going back for a second slice of dessert.

Hey Moke
Thanks so much man, I really appreciate it. I even let some stuff slide to not miss out on the bigger picture, which is to enjoy doing what you love to do and try to do it the best you can because both you & it deserve that. No matter HOW we feel we go till we can't go no more.
