Hi Glynda, Thanks for all you do. Hello Duncan, I really enjoyed hearing your musical story. You're quite the entertainer & It's nice to hear you having such a good time with what you love. I also have LOTS of unfinished thought (although not in bags ), I wonder if ANY of them match up with yours ? Calvin http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/calvinstewart

Ok I've added the part of Duncan's interview that I had to cut to make the file not too big to download, but did't want you to miss any of his interview....so, I've posted it at the bottom of the interview links...
thanks glyn

Glynda, This guy is one of the most prolific and original songwriters on JPF. A real pro. It was fun listening to him. I had to laugh when he said there's not a country music fan in the world who hasn't heard the song "Jesus, take the wheel." I must have been passed out in the backseat when that one came on the radio. But then again, I'm not a real big country fan. Great interview once again.

Well, Jesus Take The Wheel is a hit that Carrie Underwood sings and I'm suprised you haven't heard it too..but then again, I am country...very country...lol
And I'm happy you enjoyed it..
Again I must thank Johnny Daubert for doing the mastering on the files and Roy Cooper for taking care of the radio site, keeping up with who's airing this week and moving around the interviews to go into the Hall of Fame of the JPF's that's finished..again thank you guys...

Thanks Glynda. As a note, Soundcloud allows for longer files to be uploaded. Not sure exactly what the limit is but it's more than Soundclick. Also, there is a place on the www where you can upload as big a file as you want at http://www.archive.org/Thanks again.

Problem Glynda is that they have to able to be embedded and played on the webpage. Not sure about soundcloud doing that.
Three pieces is fine for the website. I just added the extra bit to yours.

Great interview! You're a real story-teller, Duncan. I may have suspected that Very vivid descriptions of growing up with music - loved them. Was cool to find out that you and I came at the guitar in the same way. I'm curious though. Is Cape Breton a beautiful place? Scott

The Hylands of Cape Breton are truly beautiful. Downtown Sydney? Um...not so much. Seriously, we can use all the tourist attention we can get down here. All we have left are call centers and a disappearing population of young people...oh yes, and did I mention what that travel magazine said about us?

Duncan you did real Well! First I heard of Hylands of Cape Breton. Yes you did mention the magazine "Travel and Leisure". You set me straight that there really is a Santa Claus also. Interesting how Duncan says the word "cassette" and puts the emphasis on the first syllable and we put it on the second. Another great interview, thanks Glynda.

That was a great interview, you two!! I got a kick out of visiting some of the 4 Men In A Tub videos, too! I sure can relate to the bags and bags of half written songs! I usually stock up on notebooks this time of year while they are $.20 each for a single subject binder, since I do all my writing on paper. Duncan sounds like such a great guy, and gives a great reminder to do it because we love it! Thanks! --Jen

Jen, glad you checked out the videos. (: Glynda, yes, dear! Get with the program! Use YouSendIt. It's a real shame SoundClick is so limited. I'm guessing you're comfortable with Soundclick but I do believe there are other websites out there that allow you to create a radio station. You'd have to do some googling to find them. Being able to upload an entire show to play as a one-click/one-stream would be a good thing.
