A slow plodding classic country tragedy, written for a female vocal (admittedly Tammy Wynette style, especially the chorus)
I've just got the music worked out for this, my only issue is whether to use V3 as a bridge just to vary the melody a bit - not sure yet.

"The Vow"

Someone stopped me, in the bar last week,

Nicely done, but it is definitely one subject that either gender could sing.

I don't think it needs a bridge at all. It's laid out well.

hi, just a thot, after reading the chorus it seemed to me that if you eliminated the words"we made that day" from the last line of the chorus it would make the "the vows" stronger. i don't know how the music is married to the words so maybe doing what i suggest would be difficult. anyhow, as i said, it's just a thot.

I'm currently working on the audio for this and should have it posted in a week or so, fingers crossed. Its a pretty basic stanza Im using here so the second half of the line is needed for balance really.
