Based on psalm 23 verse 4. All comments welcome
As I walk, through the valley, of the shadow of death, I'll not fear my soul as I draw my last breath. My lamp I'll not hide with you by my side taking comfort from your guiding hand on my head as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
As I walk, through the valley, of fields so green, I'll recount to my brothers of the glory I've seen. The pain and the loss as they fought for the cross In the stories of old and the men there have been As I walk, through the valley, of fields so green,
As I walk, through the valley, past waters so still, I'll talk of my love stay with you until, his staff guides me through before leading me to, my life at his table, 'til I've had my fill, As I walk, through the valley, past waters so still.

Thanks Kristi.... I'm more of a writer than a musician and I am intruiged why you can't comment on the content I'm not a religious person, I just find a lot of strength in that psalm verse. I was also inspired to write it after listening to The American recordings by Johnny Cash.....the emotion he puts across in some of those songs...just so powerful. Thanks again for listening Gary

Thanks Tony. The music generally comes to me as Im writing. The problem I have is getting whats in my head into something I can listen to. Its a bit like sitting in a new car but not knowing how to drive . As for the recording, I'm only using what I have and I mix everything on audacity. Its a steep learning curve, but oh what a ride!! Thanks again Gary
