That would work. We had discussed changing that line to And friend that's a matter of fact. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Was this meant to be an interpretation of some of the violence going on in that area these days? Not long ago I read a couple of books on that subject, and also rented the DVD of the movie which Jennifer Lopez starred in. Out of that I penned a piece i titled "Land of the Border Lords" and will post it in the not too distant future.
I believe at one time these Mexican border towns were havens for those who wanted to escape some of the restrictions in the US, especially concernins prostitution and, for the under 21 crowd, drinking. Now it is much too dangerous.
Peace, Brian

lol Brian. This was just a fun song pre-drug lord days. Back in the 50s I spent a lot of time in Juarez when I was stationed in Albuquerque during my Navy days. And I did get a couple of tattoos there but didn't get married twice. Back when the booze was cheap and the bars overflowing with beautiful senoritas.
I wouldn't be caught dead there now. Well if I were caught there, with the conditions they have now, I probably would be dead.
