I haven't really delved into much video yet, but my little Creative Vado video camera arrived yesterday from eBay, so I gave it a little spin on the drive home... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8MWp9F1Pt8...then I decided to see if I could tape a song all in one go using two stationary cameras and two mics. I had 30 minutes to do it, because I wanted to watch 127 Hours with my wife before she nodded off. (Phenomenal movie, by the way!) So I picked a song I wrote long ago called "1969" and let the chips fall where they may. After the movie I mixed the two audio tracks in Cubase, then fumbled about all night trying to make a half-assed video with a program I don't really understand yet. It's got ridiculous lighting and ever-worsening sync problems, but it's a start...and it gives me hope for the future, because this opens up a whole new avenue of expression. I stayed up till 3:30 messing about, but I probably won't fix much...better to move on and improve. Anyway, here's the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5GJ6XqI5Eo

Ah So here's where you went? lol
Very cool bro, I checked them all out. You take the same playful approach the Beatles did in videos, films actually for them as they were creating yet another new concept to the music world... The Music Video
Your talents,creativity & genuine-ness comes right through!
Ain't cameras fun too? Great too see & hear you.

Thanks Sub!
Yeah I'm having fun messing around with video software (I got the Cyberlink PowerDirector 9), and I also picked up a seriously cheap Creative Vado camera...these things are 50-some bucks new, and they shoot in HD, so I could now set up two cameras for the shoot and mix them together. Too fun! I even used the Pomplamoose Video Song rules on this one...no lip syncing, and everything you hear, you see. I plan to get more elaborate in the future, and tape an entire multitracked song so that you can see all the parts on split screens and stuff.
