I've taken this one off. Thanks for listening and your comments! Just thought I would post something different for a change. During a writers block, I like to mess around on the piano. I am no George Winston, but I give it a shot! Sorry, no fancy production here, just me and my piano! Into The World www.soundclick.com/tracyharris

Hey Tracy...
Very nice. Reminds me a bit of John Tesh when he was writing tunes for the Olympics.

This is pretty, Tracy. Really lovely. Has an element of poignancy to it as well. And I'm a sucker for poignant. Donna

Your "Into The World" is out of this world!! Applause from the audience....you and your piano oughta spend alot more alone time because this is wondeful!!! I love this as is and wouldn't change a thing, BUT it would also be interesting to hear it in a version that gets real intense with heavier insrumentation (strings, etc) and of course have it return to a softer lighter sparse instrumental towards it's end. Worthy of a pitch for film/licensing. Keep up the great work!! Thanks for sharing. Best, Lynn

Larry, Donna, Dottie, and Lynn, Thanks so much for taking the time to listen and your comments. Lynn, I think it would be interesting to add more instruments as well and see where it goes.
One thing that I need to work on and get better at is my expression in my playing. I need more dynamics in terms of being soft and loud and more pregnant pauses to make it more expressive. Now if only there were 48 hours in a day instead of 24, maybe I would have time to work on all the things that I would like to accomplish!! Thanks again.

Tracy, Well, if this messing around on the piano, I don't think you'll ever have trouble getting work playing piano. I will simply say "Bravo!"

Tracy--
It kind of had me thinking a long time ago--I left the orphanage after high school with FIFTY DOLLARS, A BIBLE AND SUITCASE AND ALL MY CLOTHES--heading out INTO THE WORLD--Starting out slowly and unsure, progressively feeling safer and more secure, then time passed--with things going and going at a faster pace until it ENDS peaked and FULFILLED--WHAT ABOUT THAT GIRL--YOU WROTE IT FOR ME TOO!
GREAT!

Hi Tracy,
This is very pretty. It seems to tell its own story….nice to listen to...inspire those creative juices!

Mackie, You sound like you are a man of great strength and perserverance with all that you have been through. Thank you for listening to my music and I am glad that it affects you in some positive way.

Usually I get about 45 seconds into an instrumental before I cut it off. Not here! Once again, I am quite intimidated by the level of talent here. Really a sweet composition, really well played. Not to mention I enjoyed it immensely. Ott

No wonder you're smiling in your profile picture.
You know something we don't know... That you are one hell of a piano player.
That was amazing Tracy and way to bring it home at the end.
That was fun to hear.
