I came up with an guitar/ vocal arrangement for this beautiful Irish Tune. I fell in love with it when I heard it on Boardwalk Empire and wanted to learn it. It might be a good song to add to my set to break up all the blues songs. Hope you like it. http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10338253Pete

Wow - that's a beautiful song, Pete. Never heard it before.
Great job on it! Guitar sounds really nice.
What is Boardwalk Empire?

Hi Scott, Boardwalk Empire is a TV show on HBO about the Irish Mafia that controlled Atlantic City in the 1920's. They worked this song into the plot and then played another version over the credits. It's been recorded by the Cheiftains and the Dubliners among others. I've listened to a lot of Irish music but I'd never heard this song before then. Very haunting in a way. Possibly a perfect song to appeal to aging baby boomers. Pete
