Just back from a trade show in Glasgow...i went in specifically to see and hear the new Ketron Audya Keyboard...The "demo" player was amazing, and so was the keyboard...This Keyboard takes arranger keyboards to a completely new level...the "live! sounds it reproduces are awesome..drums, bass, etc, this really is 21st century technology...i ordered one, they aint cheap but ..what the hell!...will be delivered in two weeks...can't wait..i have to admit, this is the keyboard of my dreams,..Ketron really have raised the bar to a very high level with this Keyboard..Terry.
P.S....i will give a in depth report on this page once i have it at home and surf my way thru it...Terry.

Yes it does sound nice, that clip was from 2008..from the trade show in Frankfurt in Germany..actually it was not released for sale until 2009(they had minor problems with the software which they soon corrected)if you watch the clips from 2009 at the same show a year later,Robert Maessier is far more confident with the keyboard..to be honest they only scratch the surface with these video clips...the most amazing aspect i found when exploring this keyboard was its intelligent brain,,,no two players will sound alike playing the same piece of music...the keyboard reads your chord progressions etc,and changes bass runs and drum riffs accordingly...( live drums& bass) this one concept alone sets it apart from any keyboard available on the market..notwithstanding the unique sounds and styles...so no more redundant repetitive bass and drums on arranger keyboards..as i say when i get mine delivered, will post a full rundown of this unique keyboard...Terry..

Hi Terry:
The Audya is a really impressive Arranger Keyboard. It's gotten lots of press on several other message boards. I understand that there was a software/firmware problem soon after it's release but that appears to have been resolved. Ketron really made a move forward with this one.
Sorry to be so late "weighing in."
Regards,
Dave
