Sorry miss bethaboo!!! Here is a new challenge that I felt a need to post Seeing as how I've miss all you guys and I know at least a few have missed me lol... I figured a challenge about missing things would be in order or more specifically in this challenge... A song about missing someone without giving away who... It's actually interesting how difficult this can be (cause of course I just wrote one lol), Mostly because it requires deep emotion and vague information... Please forgive my lyric as it is rather disjointed and free in it's form... Hope to see what you all come up with Derek aKa tHaT gUy P.S Thanks to Lynn for pointing out the new format will try to comply sooner in the future hey that was a near rhyme ! (might need to add that last phrase to my hook list )

back again Derek. Had this one on tap. Progressive chorus “You’d Miss Me” (c)2010 Lynn OrloffIf you only have a moment babe A moment’s all I’ll take Cause it only takes a moment for This heart of mine to break I’ll keep it brief, I promise I only ask that you just listen I want to know if you considered well All the things that you’d be missin’ You’d miss our curl-ups on the couch, my little kisses on your head How we’d stay up late and watch the stars, all the sweet things that I said You’d miss our Sunday picnics in the park how we'd laugh until we cried The way I whispered softly in your ear, you’d miss me babe if it’s goodbyeYou tell me that you think we’re through Sometimes things just have to end There isn’t much that we can do Though we always will be friends But darlin’ please just reconsider Before you throw it all away I know that if you think this through Your head will tell your heart to stay You’d miss the love notes that I left you at those unexpected times My not-so-funny jokes you’d laugh at and those endless corny rhymes The way I’d hug you so much tighter everytime you went away Babe I know that you would miss me, so I’m beggin you to stayBridge We must’ve shared a thousand smiles with memories burning deep There’s so much more that waits in store so darlin’ please don’t leave Cause I’d miss the chance to tell you that I love you everyday And I don’t think I could breathe again if you just up and walk away I know your heart would come to miss me, though you might not think it now So darling give us one more try, I know we’ll work it out somehow

Untamed. by Polly Hager
I've been your friend for so long, so much that we've gone through Loved you since the day we met, but I could not keep you So I held on as a confidant and a best friend through the years And every time you talked about her I choked back the tears
Now you're upset, so done with her, and you need an ear to bend I've always been here in thick and thin, a lifeline without end You mention moving on WITH ME but something just don't seem right If you had loved me way back when we'd be as one tonight
I MISS...the laughter that we shared together I MISS...the complicated love we had I MISS...the way our eyes could melt eachother I MISS...the YOU that was in love...with me.
It's all gonna be alright, I'll be cool and we'll be friends always Like nothing ever happened, 'cause that's the way that you feel You have a life and a purpose I'm not part of, these days I have to get out of this cloud and see what is real
I MISS...the way we drove eachother totally insane I MISS...the look you gave when I went too far I MISS...the way you always spoke my name I MISS...the YOU that found ME...the YOU that found ME...Untamed.

Had this li'l country death metal song that seemed like it might fit the 'missing" challenge thing. It's about a suicide... Link is www.soundclick.com/share?songid=9144855. lyrics follow. The band will be doing this one tomorrow at the "Rocktoberfest." Joe [4/4, standard death metal beat] ANGEL IN CHAINS --J. Wrabek 1. I left you lying under the bus After I was sure you weren’t waking up I heard you say that you’d had enough And nothing was going to change… They’ll take your head and cut it open wide And try to figure out why you died And see if there’s anything left inside That anyone would want to save… CHORUS: I’m leaving now, and it’s for the best I love you still, but I need my rest I’ve got a life, and I’m sorry it ain’t strange… And I don’t suppose I’ll be seeing you again… Angel in chains Angel in chains Angel in chains… 2. Conjuring spirits every night Never knowing which ones were nice Four short walls with nothing at all To keep the nightmares away… I kept the photographs of me and you And all the dreams that never came true I guess I was a prisoner, too But you managed to escape… CHORUS: [LEAD BREAK, IF ANYONE CAN PLAY LEAD] 3. Recreational handcuffs are still on the bed Along with the whips, and the drugs you left I’d like to take away all of you But some things have got to stay… I didn’t know it’d be this hard I was all prepared for being apart But this feels like driving off in a car When the roads are all melted away… CHORUS: I’m leaving now, and it’s for the best I love you still, but I need my rest I’ll get a life, and it prob’ly won’t be strange… And I don’t suppose I’ll be seeing you again… Angel in chains Angel in chains Angel in chains… ©2010 J. Wrabek dba Outside Services Ltd. All the usual rights reserved just in case. No angels were harmed in the writing of this song. No chains, either.

Well, maybe I am giving away who the "missing person" is too much. Here is one of those 50/90 skirmish songs. We were given a title and then had to write/record a song in one hour. Keep that in mind if you listen to the song (ha, ha). I'll be coming back to re-do this one soon. Kevin *************************************************** Back Home To The Rain(c) Emmrich 2010I left there a long time ago wanted to see the sun I found out certain things are not that fun so it's home it's back home to the rain lots of folks talk about how great the beach is with the tans, the curves and the sands but one thing I've found that the beach doesn't have is the girl I can't live without So it's back, back to seattle yea, it's a long way to travel and I wonder if she feels the same I'll take that chance and it's home, it's back home to the rain I've walked many miles in my shoes I've wondered if other folks' might fit I've heard the talk and often thought I just don't know when it's time to quit So it's back, back to seattle yea, it's a long way to travel and I wonder if she feels the same I'll take that chance and it's home, it's back home to the rain I discovered I like the clouds and gray's not that bad a shade so if you don't mind, I think it's time to go back home to the rain So it's back, back to seattle yea, it's a long way to travel and I wonder if she feels the same I'll take that chance and it's home, it's back home to the rain
