OK no I don't mean bad mouthing.
This is my first announcement for upcoming events. On or about August 20 the Nashville Chapter will host a three day songwritng event. There will be a song writing BBQ picnic, the focus will be on three person teams writing a song within a given time frame. The song will then be recorded, as a work tape by the participants, and a CD given to each of the writers. We will host a 5 hour workshop in Nashville with a Critique panel of industry professionals, A guest speaker, and an industry panel Q&A session. We will host an open Mic Showcase
There will be prizes awarded
We are still working out the details But mark it on your calender.

Due to lack of interest it has been canceled. Sorry. A few folks are going to be in town that weekend. We may get together for a BBQ

Why does it have to be a LARGE thing the very first time we get together? What's wrong with starting with just a few of us? Just askin'...

Of course, I don't mean the whole recording thing, but just a songwriting get-together for fellow Nashvillians.

Erisa I would be happy to get together with you or anyone else for a cook out, songwriting session or whatever but this is the second time I offered this and there simply is no real interest. Look at this thread two people responded. You and a new person, All_man fan, Who I have not had the pleasure to meet.
If folks are to travel hundreds of miles to come to Nashville we wanted to offer them a reason to make the trip. As for locals I welcome the opportunity to meet new folks.
As for this coming weekend. I have already made other plans. Sorry.
