Hola (:
I am writing a song and I am basically done with it, I just cannot find a good bridge. I am an amateur composer and player, and I don't take music theory until the start of the next school year.
Anyway, my song is in the key of F. Time signature is 4/4. The sequence is I-V-IImaj-VImaj (F, C, G, D). I want the bridge to be 2 measures but I simply cannot find a progression that sounds right.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Much thanks in andvance.
Blessed Be )0( ~~Yanii H.

Also, If you need to hear the song, I can easily play what I have and put it on my youtube. Just ask (:

Hi Yanii,
Another chord that might take you somewhere inspiring is A minor. I'm guessing that D usually takes you to F...but I'm feeling either A minor or E minor could take us on a cool little detour.

Hey Yanii,
How about two beats of Gmin, two beats of Eb, two beats of Gmin, then two beats of C?
You've got to know your limitations. I don't know what your limitations are. I found out what mine were when I was twelve. I found out that there weren't too many limitations, if I did it my way. -Johnny Cash It's only music. -niteshift Mike Dunbar Music
