Just dropping this one in to stay in touch. Hello from a very soggy Northwest Oregon. This one isn't perfect but should be close enough for the blues. Sure would be nice to see the sun shine for a whole day. Hope you are doing well. If you'd like to comment or just say hello that would be great. My goal was to put the song and the solo together to make one performance piece which would be stronger than either one individually. Song page: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9226400

Thanks Dan, glad we share a love for the folk and blues tunes.
Speaking of WOW - a baby, nothing is more lovable than a little baby.
I'll go over and listen to "Losers" and leave a comment, now.

Cool. Very atmospheric.
Adding a bit of vinyl crackle would add to the old bluesman feel. ;-)

Yes sir. You can do a blues song a million ways and I never get tired of any of them. Awesome blues guitar work. Great lyrics. You got the whole package. Even the attitude!

Hi Steve, I've tried adding the vinyl crackle before, but ended up preferring the sound without it. If you were going for a soundtrack maybe that would be the ticket. Anyway, you have some cool sounds and songs on your sites. I've been thinking I might like to try playing to some 'beats' sometime.

dwditty is very cool. Love that raspy voice, sounds great for the blues. He does the song wonderfully. I do play that song, it was one of Van Ronks hits too. GREAT PERFORMANCE as usual, thanks !
Calvin Thanks Calvin. you're a great friend. Looks like all the work is going to pay off. I did a demo CD and it got me the opening slot for the Cascade Blues Assoc. Meeting on Sept.1. I'm pretty excited about it.

Ricki Thanks Ricki, I think I'm borderline obsessive on this right now, maybe this outing will lead to something else?
