This was fun...while stopping at Sony/ATV today, I was just chatting with the very nice receptionist, when I just couldn't contain myself any longer. I ask her if I could play the old Steinway Grand next to her, she said sure. Ohhh man, though the piano was old, it felt awesome. Afterwards she says 'Oh my, you are wonderful! You have a great touch. Makes one want to listen all day!" We then chatted a little more and I was on my way.
You know, sometimes it's just those short moments that are so magical. She is such a nice person. I always chat with her when I stop there. I'll never forget that.

though the piano was old, it felt awesome. There's magic in old wood. I love playing prewar guitars, mandolins and banjos. The aged wood can't be beat.
