When The Cougar Makes Her Run
Cougars lay back and wait The years have made them sly Patiently they watch their prey Till passion wells inside A young man's heart is what they crave They'll steal it if they can One web well spun might get it done A little grease in the fryin pan
Chorus
When six pack abs come up for grabs They love those buns of steel Won't rob you blind that gold's been mined Young at heart never over the hill No PMS don't need the stress They kiss but never tell Fresh game to take there's a soul to mate When the cougar makes her run
Why should them young girls Take a stand When they can't even make him Feel like a man She'll treat him right keep it up all night Until he's had his fill There's beauty in her wisdom A subtle grace as she makes the kill
(Repeat Chorus)
Outro Yeah nothin's left undone When the cougar makes her run

Larry,
A well written lyric! A sneaky animal, the cougar. I have never been knowingly attacked by one, probably due to the fact that I believe six packs are to be drunk, not admired. Not sure that the heart is what they crave......maybe someone can clarify.

Thanks..glad you enjoyed.
BTW: If you have a link to your cougar tune maybe you could post it. I don't remember seeing it on the boards earlier.

Very nice, well flowing lyric there, Larry...Hey, you are becoming a force to be reckoned with. This captures the skill level of a cougar very well and tells it in a very cunningly, clever way.
High fives all around!! This would be easy to set to music....nice flow for sure.

Try--(Well spun web might get it done).
Very cool lyric! I like the concept and you bring it off nicely.

Hi Colin...
Thanks for giving her a look-see and kind comments.
I had to clean up the lyrics a bit before posting. The clarification on the craving point was possibly addressed in that version...she got the gold mine and the "shaft"...lol.

Larry,
what do you think of this little adjustment?
the cougar lies in wait the years have made her sly patiently she'll watch her prey from the corner of her eye a young man's fire is what she craves she'll quench it if she can it's a trial of temptation 'til she has him in hand
okay I know I shouldn't make specific suggestions like that. I just couldn't help but think of personalizing that 1st verse.
just having fun, John

Nicely written.
Perhaps sub "Warm lair in cave" for "One web well spun". Web does not relate to cougars.
Good job!

Hi Stan...
Thanks for the kind comments.
The "web" was just a metaphor for setting a trap that the unwary "victim" might fall into as the spider and fly.

G'Mornin' Bro Larry!
Like It overall, but of course, Here Come Some Sugs in the KOS Catetgory, Amigo!
V1: Last Line: "WITH SOME grease in the fryin' pan"
CHORUS: "They kiss but never tell..NO ONE.." (Gives ya a Rhyme to make Hook stronger..JMO/KOS)
V2: "WITH subtle grace..she makes HER kill"
That'll do it. Overall, GOOD'N' Bro...
Good Luck with it...Best "Cougar Song" I've seen so-far! Big Guy-Hug, Stan
