HI MICHELLE!!!!!
Gosh, it's so damned good to see you back again! We have missed oyu a bunch. Glad to hear things are going well at this time. And congratulation on the impending grandmotherhood! We have 4...6, 11, 12 and 13 years old.
As far as the social happenings, I think it best to let everyone concerned tell you themselves. That way there's no misinformation.
I wouldn't necessarily say your time was wasted as far as songwriting goes. Every experience you have in life might find a way into a song somewhere, sometime. Every experience we have gives us new perspectives, new ideas, more reflections. Even the sad or hurtful ones leave us with a feeling, a memory...something that can be expressed musically/lyrically.
Nice to have you back with us! All the best and hope 2010 is a great year for you.
Alan

Michelle, Good to see you back. You wrote some really, really good songs while you were here. I am expecting the same amazing quality this time around (ha, ha). By the way www.fawm.org is cranking up again (write 14 songs in 28 days). Might be just what you need to get going again. Have fun and see ya around soon. Kevin

Good to see you again, Michelle. I agree with the others: No time is ever wasted. It's all grist for the mill. Donna

Hi Michelle. So glad you are back. I totally agree with everybody who says that no time was wasted. Congratulations on your wonderful news. Always happy to collaborate with you. I'm sure you'll get many PMs from other songwriters saying the same Nadia _________________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=936270

Hi Michelle So nice to see you again. Yes I missed you, welcome back hah. This Aussie girl hasn't been on the boards much lately. I've been working on a song to my Mum, who has Dementia. Also I'm learning lot's about songwriting, which is very exciting. At present it is school holidays here, so I'm pretty busy, also going to sit through two courses, as I need to do these to apply for this job next week, so I'm crossing my fingers I get the job. On the weekend, I hurt my back, so went to have remedial massage yesterday, very soar and bruised today, so I'm sitting here with a hot pack on my back, gosh, painful. Looking forward to seeing you on the boards again. Gotta go, my kids are running a muck. Hugs Michele

Hi Michelle,
Welcome back. Life takes funny turns. Like Marc says, in songwriting sometimes you just need to build up more stories to tell. There's no such thing as wasting time.
All the Best, Mike
You've got to know your limitations. I don't know what your limitations are. I found out what mine were when I was twelve. I found out that there weren't too many limitations, if I did it my way. -Johnny Cash It's only music. -niteshift Mike Dunbar Music

Michelle! What a nice surprise to come on here and find this! Welcome back, and DO stick around! No, Andy and I didn't work out, but that's life. Plenty of fish in the sea. I've been writing myself (don't laugh!!!) and came up with something half decent. I've grown a lot since I've been here (that's what this place does to you!) Looking forward to seeing you around and reading what you have. (((BIG HUGS)))!

Dear Michelle...
It IS a strange feeling to take a break from it all........but I think the beautiful part of songwriting is it's there....just waiting for ya like an unwrapped gift...

Hi Michelle! Congratulations on the upcoming Nan Nan job!
You didn't leave, you just stepped out for some things. No biggie.
Songwriting? When not actually writing, we're recoiling. It's all a songwriting process,,,,every minute!
Johnny now,,,,long story,,,don't ask!
