Hello Nashville! I have a chance to visit Nashville in either May or June. Which is the better month as far as weather and possible events going on related to country music or songwriting? Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks in advance. Cheers! Pam Bowen

Hi Pam, Where's all the people who live in Nshville? I'd pick June if I were you. There's a lot going on. One really neat event is the Nashville Songwriters Fest, June 4,5 & 6th right on Music Row. There's a lot of tourist stuff going on too but if you perform I'd get into some songwriter nights for some real fun. Here's a link: http://songwritersfestival.com/index.htmAlso; http://www.nashvillemuse.com/ for up to date info of goings on. I'm from Iowa now but I've spent a lot of time in Nashville and these are my personal favorites. Of course there is 'Lower Broad" or Broadway with music everywhere but that's mostly tourist trap stuff. It is interesting though if you go in the daytime. Whatever you decide, enjoy your trip, Nashville is a great town. Wayne

HI I am going to Nashville from about the 7th - 13th February and wondering what suggestions you could give me? I am a songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. I do have a few friends who have been there and will ask them for advice as to where to stay etc. I don't have much money so hope I can work it out, but since I have to go to L.A. in Feb for music related reasons, I thought I must try and see more of the US this time. I am also going to New York for a week. Jess www.jessicapaige.net
