Congrats all the way. It is so exciting when someone new makes it through. It can happen as long as we don't get sidetracked by the negatives that surround us all. I'm so excited for you. June

Whew...Principal photography is over, except for 3 important scenes that need specific locations, and they're now beginning the post-production phase.
The website should be up and running soon...And THIS just in...One of the young actresses has a grandfather who is on the board of the Florida Independent Film Festival...And even though it's too late to enter The Shoebox for next year's Festival, the Board is still interested in hosting a "Friends and Family Premiere" at The Enzian Theater in Orlando because Meghan, the Angel who inspired the whole thing was from Florida and they like the local angle of the story.
Sat in with the director the other day and watch about 6 hours of clips(from around 1,000 hours of filming)....Man, am I glad to not be the editor...

Man, that makes recording an album seem like the blink of an eye. Go get 'em, Bob!

Okay, so this isn't a clip from the film, but I can't resist giving a shout out to the young 5 year old blond, Emma Lyle, who says "There are 8 million uninsured children in America." She is one of the stars in The Shoebox & I'll always be able to say that we cast her in her first feature film!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkDhKHD52tk&feature=relatedMidnite

Well, we made the local evening news! http://www.wsaz.com/news/headlines/78620427.htmlAnd Stan-O...if ya look closely, you'll see a short bit with two actors. The one who is swigging from a flask and grabbing a video camera from a shocked kid is the one who sings yer's & Dougie's song. Midnite

Thanks for the Sneak Preview, Bro 'Nite!
Ah..the OhioFolks...the Locals seem as-Interesting & Highly-Intelligent as back when I headed out into The World from There in 1969! (My Sis still sends me Reports...from her home in Medina back there!)
MOST of my HS Classmates moved-away after Graduation. (Winters bein' COLD & all-that!) 4 from my Class of '63 all live fairly nearby to my Tampa FL homesite. 1 I know of, tho, Joel Epperson...USED to live near L.A...a VERY Successful Freelance TV Camera Operator...(Had Main Camera on Michael Jackson..for NY Concert for instance)..moved BACK to Berea a couple years ago..when he "retired". (Still "hats-up" when a big Concert gets televised.) COULD live anywhere on the Planet...ends up in the Old Hometown-Ohio..by-choice.
Yep..an Interesting & Intelligent Bunch..those Ohioans!
CONGRATS on "Wrappin'" that Picture, Amigo...& Hope it's as great as I'm sure it IS! YAYYYY!!!
More Best Wishes & Big Guy-&-Gal Hugs, All-Around! Stan
