"Writing For Today's Nashville Country Market - A Song Plugger's Perspective" with Steve Bloch.
As a songwriter, you are naturally inclined to feel that your songs should be loved and appreciated by everyone. So why is it that your most amazing creations don't always get the attention you feel they deserve. In fact, it's sometimes a writer's less favorite songs that garner the majority of attention. Well known song plugger, independent publisher and song critique expert, Steve Bloch, ('Writer Zone Music', with Rand Bishop, and his own company, 'Southern Cow Music') will explore what song pluggers and publishers really look for in a song.
"Steve is a true rarity: He's a guy with the capacity to listen to a song once, and have intelligent things to say about it. Because of that highly honed skill, he's frequently invited to be a panelist at songwriting conferences around the country." - Rand Bishop, from his book, 'Makin' Stuff Up'..

There are acts that make you want to take their music home with you, and those whose CDs you wouldn't take if it was given out for free. There are those that you rave about to your family and friends, and those that you warn your friends not to waste their time or money seeing.
