I came over here tonight and saw this posted and wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you.
I know this has to be a very difficult time for you....waiting and "wondering" is often the most trying part.
You definitely have lots of folks that love and care about you...with prayer, faith and positive thoughts, you can weather any storm.
Beth, I am so sorry that you have had to endure so many health problems. To give you a little smile, I happened to remember this quote:
"It's not easy taking my problems one at a time when they refuse to get in line."

OMG Beth! I'm sick with worry! I will be praying for you night and day. Just my stupid lil' pea brain opinion, but please don't wait to have the hysterectomy...timing is everything. You can take the trip after you beat this. I'm lighting a candle for you now...and it's not going out. Hey Polly, I've been meaning to get in touch with you, to see how things are going with Andy. Isn't he due back this month?? Regardless, please don't worry about me...you have enough on your uplate as it is. Still, it warms my heart that you are worried. As for the timing of the hysterectomy, I think everything will be dependent on the results of the biopsy. Frankly, if it's negative (meaning good news), I'd love to be able to put it off until after the holidays. I spoiled them last year...at least I'd like to try to be in good shape for this year's festivities. But, I'll certainly err on the side of caution...I have great faith and trust in this doctor. Louis, I remembered this song very well, and I did download it, thank you. I can't think of a much better gift than music....and the message is so appropos. I believe I heard your daughter is coming along better than expected. It's hard enough dealing with one's own frailties....I cannot imagine being in your shoes and the feeling of helplessness you must feel. But it does sound like she's moving in a positive direction, so I'll be sending prayers right back at you. Take care, Beth

I know I don't know you, but I just wanted to say you're in my prayers. I hope everything goes well and you get good news from your biopsy. My mother had to have a hysterectomy because of a malignant mass. So this really strikes a chord with me. God bless.

That makes me chuckle a bit, b/c that OTHER Beth Williams video was called "Love is Sunshine For the Soul" (or something like that)....so I guess I'm stuck with sunshine. And that's good (as long as I don't get a burn!).. So, hopefully I'll have some news soon to share with everyone. There has GOTTA be a song in here somewhere...probably about THe Waiting. You poor thing, so sorry about all these pesky ailments...and I know you'd rather be having fun. Hey Mark, I love that word "pesky"....very mosquito-like. I sure wish I could just slap all these issues away with a fly swatter! I haven't had a chance to catch any Eddie Izzard, but the kids do enjoy Will Farrell's impersonation of Sean Connery, appearing on SNL's spoof of Celebrity Jeopardy. And as you must have surmised by now, I'm a fairly easy audience.... BTW, you totally pegged me -- "pretending not to be scared". But what else is there to do? I pray every night for all of my friends here at JPFs but I will say a special prayer for a very special person.From the very first day that I joined JPFs ,I got a very good sense of just what you mean to the folks around here.Its no secret that you are respected and very well loved around here lady.Just keep looking up....thats is where you will find the strength and courage to face this very scary time in your life...it will be okay Beth,you have too many people pulling for ya...they say that there is strength in numbers,and I imagine that God's circuit board will be lit up tonight with all of the many prayer requests that he will be receiving on your behalf...Please keep us informed...

I loved your description of God's circuit board lighting up -- made me think of the old Lily Tomlin "One Ringy-Dingy" sketch from Laugh-In. And I'm good with both! I was at another funeral yesterday, an extended family member. Seems I'm attending too many of late. Part of getting old I guess. Thank you very much Everett. I bet your prayers count extra somehow, so I appreciate it! I'm sorry, though, that you've had to be at so many funerals lately. It does seem like there has been a lot of that lately...but ultimately, it is a part of life. My grandmother (Nonni) is 103 1/2, so can you imagine the number of funerals SHE'S been too? Monday AM: Was intending to finish responding this morning...but "luckily" I have two selfless kids who know how worried I've been, so they both generously decided to get the stomach bug going around town.  Believe you me, there's not going to be much time for worry today -- except for recalling that the last two times they got this, so did I...and I ended up in the hospital with dehydration.  Parenthood....a life sentence without parole..... Hope everyone ELSE has a good day...  Beth the Bombarded

Even if it's a positive on the Biopsy Uterine Cancer is very treatable. I am confident you will be OK. Hi Bill, I heard it was your birthday yesterday, so first of all, a belated happy b'day to you.
