Just thought I'd post this because Andy and I are CRAZY busy and neither of us has been here that much lately...but we are filing our spousal visa forms THIS WEEK (it took a long while because they changed forms, etc. it was ridiculous) and we hope to be together forever by November or December. I can't believe how we've hung on so tight and just perservered through this. I mean, I knew we loved eachother, but being 4,000 miles apart just sucks scissors, and it was even harder after his visit here, because then we KNEW we were meant to be.
Anyway, we are happy and looking forward to our lives together. Wouldn't have met if it weren't for this wonderful site (don't mean to make it into a dating site! LOL) Don't worry, fans of Andy. He'll be back as soon as we get all of our paperwork and other stuff sorted out. He took a new position at his workplace and it's very demanding. I told him to get back here ASAP or people would start referring to me as "Yoko"!
In the meantime, I am busying myself with my band and an all-female band project on the side. Nothing fills the void of missing Andy though. I've never met anyone so awesome, sexy, wonderful, smart, funny, talented, loving, kind, and so connected to ME...ever. This is definitely a gift, and I intend to treasure this gift of love from the most wonderful man I've ever met for always.

Thanks, everybody! Tom, we will be back in Nashville ASAP! Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality and showing us the best that Nashville has to offer. We are STILL giddy over it!
I'll start a thread when he is here for good. Then we can REALLY celebrate. I saw my beautiful man on Skype last night for the first time in a long time, and it was a sight for sore eyes. We Skyped for 3 hours and it felt like five minutes. He made me laugh so hard, we had such a good time, but towards the end I was crying, saying, "Please just hurry back to me." My heart yearns for him. I love him so much, I miss him so much, I'm just so lost. I would give a million dollars just to hold him for five minutes.
Just keep your fingers crossed that the paperwork is processed quickly and without a hitch.

Hang in there, Polly. I know......easy for me to say.
"Grits is one of those country-boy words that is both singular and plural-like deer, elk and sheep. I think the singular is appropriate when there's a modifier that makes it clear one is talking about something specific. Like, 'Grits are good for you, but these here grits is tasty.'"~~Joe Wrabek

Polly, How wonderful it is to feel the deep love that you now hold in your heart. That love will carry you through until you are both together again. Let us know as soon as your hear anything on the paperwork.
Blessings, Heidi

Andy is apprehensive about moving here just now...a lot of factors to be considered, and I can't move to Glasgow. We'll just have to see what happens. He'll come back here to JPF when he has time...new job position keeps him REALLY busy. We still talk a lot. I'll tell him you send your best.

Noel, what a thoughtful thing to say.
