This is just one that I've been playing around with for a few days.I know that it needs much work. This hook just seemed go great to me that I'm almost certain that it has to have been used many times before, but nothing shows up when I google it.Please let me know if any of you have seen this hook used before in a popular song.....I really dont want to continue to put much more into it if it has,as it would seem that any song using this hook would have to be similar in content...

Michelle, Hi girl. I like this, and the use of pagentry throughout.. maybe, not sure, you may have used Miss Everything a bit too often, being in every verse, chorus and bridge.. other than that, very nice:) Kimberly

Hey Michelle, The hook didn't ring any bells for me as having been used and I didn't bring it up either I don't really find much to nit The only place I would question the use of the hook in the bridge The hook is seldom used in the bridge though I'm sure people will come up with cases where it has been Especially in this case I think it might be overkill. Possibility Bridge She is my very universe,I could never live without her If SHE was to go away,I'd miss everything about her
That way you'd be PLAYING OFF the hook but not using it as such. KOS though A good write Wy

Michelle, It sounds familiar in a way but I can't say I've heard it before. I think I've said that to my daughter (once or twice)lol. I believe in originality, but the melody and lyrics can change everything. Can't wait to see your final product. It should be what you imagined it to be. Good Luck Patti

Hi Patti, It still seems very familiar to me also.I really want to investigate further before trying to add music.I have a feeling that if this hook has been used in this way before, that it would almost have to be very similar to this...maybe not,but it seems very possible. Thanks for the commenting Patti. It means alot to me. Hi there Michelle,
I just had to come by to tell you that I really love this title and you have done a great job with the concept and the lyrics!
I had never heard it before.....and noticed you asked....so I too "googled" it...(I typed in "Miss Everything").....and here is what I found:
http://www.lyrics007.com/Alex%20Lyrics/Miss%20Everything%20(Dear%20Mother)%20Lyrics.html
If you do decide to run with this... I do agree with Wymans' suggestion for the bridge....I love what he came up with! ( He is so smart and helpful, isn't he?!)
Michelle, in my opinion, the other area that I would work on....is in your first verse...where you have her "getting up"...and a couple of lines later mention she's "flipping burgers"....I just feel it would be better to say she's "flipping pancakes"......or "making breakfast". Hope this helps.....
Good luck with this song Michelle.
Kind wishes, Gail

Michelle, I went to the website above and read it. I don't personally think you should change it as long as it's original and different. Some may disagree though. Someone could also write a lyric saying "I miss everything". Completely different concept but similar title. Patti

Hi again Michelle,
Yes.....I totally agree.....while it's always best if you can come up with an original title.....sometimes you write a lyric, and then find there are others out there with the same or similar titles.....and while that's o.k......(I do feel it is always better if you can come up with a really unique title and hook).....but the main thing you have to make sure of ..... is that your lyric content is not the same!
Michelle you came up with a great idea, and you have written a great lyric around that and I feel it has lots of potential.
Like I said, to the best of my knowledge I had not heard it used in a song before....but, I saw that you wanted to make sure before you worked on this further, and I know I would be the same way. When I come up with a title idea.....I know I always google it too. So.........as far as I can tell Michelle....I think you're safe(!).....because even though this title is close....the content is not.... you might want to check a little further, that is all I could find for 'ya though.

There are NO titles out there that haven't been taken. I wouldn't worry about it, as long as the lyrics are different.
Of course, I wouldn't write a song with the title "A Hard Day's Night", but as long as the title is rather unknown, it doesn't matter.

Some titles have hundreds of songs by that title. I've had several titles that I didn't find on BMI or ASCAP or even by Googling it. But that doesn't mean that someone, somewhere hasn't written a song by that name. Like Kevin said, if it's not a "Well known" title, don't worry about it. Titles aren't copyrightable. Wy
