Here's a new mix on a song I first posted last Winter, I didn't get a chance to rerecord the vocal but reworked the backing tracks and tried to get a strong mix together. Hope I've had some success, let me know. Song page: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7722576

Hi Pete,
Nice to meet you.
I must admit that I like the music more than the vocal. It's certainly an interesting concept for a song...but it sounds like there might be too many words and syllables, making it sound `hurried', if that makes any sense at all. The first line in the chorus is quite clever!
Overall, the music mix sounded pretty tight. My only suggestion is that the 16th note shaker (??) that you introduce in the third measure ends abruptly at measure 11 (or measures 5 and 22 if this is in cut time). Ah...it comes back in the chorus, but then...it's gone again. Maybe a smoother transition?
Thanks for sharing your track!

LOL - Poor devil! That's funny Pete - nothing like a good revenge yarn! Taking a picture of himself naked is one of those things that might seem like a good idea at the time but could backfire. It might make a funny spoken outro to have her having done something embarrassing with it. Or at least holding it over him to keep him in line Really enjoyed that! Scott

Hi Steve P.
Well I'm glad you liked the tracks, I'll look into that 1/16 note shaker part. Thanks for giving it your attention.
Pete

Hi Scott,
Glad you got a laugh out of it. "Little Goodbyes" was a pretty good revenge song, and there was a popular book on how to get even. I like your idea on the picture, that was an over the top element but seemed to work . Thanks for the ideas and for the listen. Pete

Hi Pete --
That's good picking! Really liked the music and your voice kind of grew on me as I listened. It would have been helpful to have the lyrics to follow along with but I enjoyed it.
Thanks,
Kevin
