NEW VERSION
Out of the wreck I rise Mcfortunato (c)2009
V1 I am just where I am Stuck in a hard-times jam, I cry for Heavens rain Grimace too long with pain, Though life slips out of hand You lift me at your command,
Chorus Out of the wreck I rise Out of the wreck I rise Oh, set me free from things That try to ruin me, Out of the wreck I rise God help me to get wise, Soon I will be home free Out of the wreck I rise
V2 It is just what it is Seems the worlds gone amiss, Ill muster up faith and hope Hold on to your love rope, Pull out of this dark place Back in your arms of grace,
Chorus Out of the wreck I rise Out of the wreck I rise Oh, set me free from things That try to ruin me, Out of the wreck I rise God help me to get wise, Soon I will be home free Out of the wreck I rise
Bridge Oh, I want to sing you a great victory song, March onto heavens lane Right where I belong,
Chorus
OLD VERSION Out of the wreck I rise Mcfortunato 2009
V1 I am where I am Stuck in a heart jam, I cry for my country And grimace with pain, Though lifes falls out of hand God remains the same,
Chorus Out of the wreck I rise Out of the wreck I rise Set me free from things That only ruin me, Out of the wreck I rise God help me get wise, Then I’ll be home free Out of the wreck I rise
V2 It is what it is Somethings gone amiss, Ill shake off the dirt Walk out of this place, Hold on to Gods love Drawing me by grace,
Chorus Out of the wreck I rise Out of the wreck I rise Set me free from things That only ruin me, Out of the wreck I rise God help me get wise, Then Ill be home free Out of the wreck I rise
Bridge Oh, I want to sing a happy tune, Walk down heavens lane next to you soon

Very simple, easy to understand and well done! There aren't enough of these out there. Got music? Melody?

Hi , Working pretty good. This line seems like it has a typo- -------- Though lifes falls out of hand- ----- Looks like it should be either Though LIVES FALL out of hand--or Though LIFE falls out of hand It seems like the first line of the C, the hook, could be led up to better--There's no real indication of a wreck in the first V. A possibility of changing the fifth line --V1 to something like Though life COMES CRASHING DOWN That breaks the rhyme from line 2 to line 5 but those lines don't rhyme in the other verse anyway. Good luck with it. Wy
