Hello I reposted this link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klLH-MYULb4This is the concert of Robert Palmer in Japan 25 years ago but I overdub it with my arranged song of addicted to Love. I was the singer using Stan Good lyrics that he wrote in the lyric 3 board last week.

Really funny Lynman
good lip synching in the third person!............amazing how you manage to get so much done with a medical practice and a family........but as they say-if you wanna be sure something gets done-give it to a busy guy.....good job.

Actually Im off for today with patient while my slow internet connection avoid me in judging jpf music award so I decided to make fun with this song started this morning and finishes this arrangement at 2pm. I realized this parody thing is my passport to stardom hopefully. LOL.
The lipsyncing is quite the hardest. It consume my 2 hours using windows movie maker.
Thanks for visiting and your comment is highly appreciated.

LOL! pitch is all over the plays - it's might as well FACE it, not might as well PACE it. - great job with the video sync! Robert Palmer is rolling in his grave!

Thanks Jojo
Im sorry for the spelling I was tired that day and I realized it was a wrong one. But I changed that already its so happen the title stays the same.
I was the one who lay the tracks using existing midi files scattered all over the internet. all you have to do is to copy the original sounds as close as possible using plugins like compressors reverb and eq.
I was the singer I have no time to pitch correct all of it when I posted it So far the new mix can rock but now is in my archives. The project will be 20 parodies this month hope stan good will contribute to my idea writing lyrics on some of the hit songs.
Im thinking a self produced music video not that robert palmer thing doing a concert.
Definitely Robert Palmer will cry foul for this LOL.
Thanks again for your constructive criticism this helps a lot.

LOL... If i will be the singer of this song well im going to use my own music video delivering it ala robert palmer.
No harm done I agree sometimes we have some limitation in doing music production and that includes finding a singer for some of our parody project.
Thanks for the revisit. This parody project gave me extra skills. Now Im open for production of minus 1 of certain hit song for personal use of singers here. The nice thing about this they can specify the right pitch or the right tempo for them.

I told you to get some voice lessons and vocal training, Lynman. You have a lisp, tiy eat your words, and you pronounce your Fs as P, among other things.
Better yet, stick with what you do best. Try ti improve your grammar though. You're the FIRST (and so far ONLY) so-called doctor I've known to have such a poor grasp of it...

Darius and matanglawin,
If you put as much time and effort into creating great music as you put into trying to tear others down, you would be superstars.

Kevin is correct. English is not Lynmans first language and he does not claim to be a great singer. I think he does pretty well. I could not even order a cup of coffee in his language. As for grammar and spelling well just revisit the posts and take a good hard look. It is easy to point out others faults BUT have a go at correcting your own first.

he does not claim to be a great singer. Oh, he does. And there are other claims he has made, that have been proven to be false http://www.jpfolks.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=724818Look at page 2 and the last few posts. in any case, point taken, OUR points have been proven as well. thanks for the advice - we'll take it. Have a nice day.

Can I suggest that you keep personal feuds off the boards. We are all here to help each other and insults etc achieve nothing. I do not know anything about what is at the bottom of this tirade of insults but HEY grown ups do not name call and act this way regardless of who said or did what. I will not take sides just ask that you all grow up.

Everyone,I suppose you would trust a doctor who gives a wrong diagnosis because of a TYPOGRAPHICAL error, right? Worse, a grammatical one.
English IS NOT my first language either, we're are all from the Philippines, but even though I had a technical course, I made sure I am proficient enough with English as a second language.
So, let's not make an excuse of it.
Before you tell anyone else here to keep personal attacks off the threads, Lynman's YOUR man.
Note that I actually gave SOUND advice regarding his voice, and despite my "seemingly" personal comments, it's all professional in nature. It's the same advice I gave him when I met him.
I guess you really do need to meet a person at least once to know his true character.
I've met him, and know how awful he really sounds...

There is a HUGE difference between constructive criticism and an insult. There are many on this site who are not very good singers They may not be able to play an instrument well, or can play an instrument but cannot write lyrics or can do all of the said things but cannot make a decent recording. This site is for all regardless of talent and we do not ridicule anyone. We help each other.

What exactly hurt your ears? Is this constructive criticism? I note you have no links so people can give comments on anything you produce.

I have a mp3 called "Greenhorn" on the mp3 forum and no I don't produce them , I am a lyricist and claim no rights to producing or composing, and I would never use someone else's video to make a parody or otherwise without the proper permission(which I think Lynman has not done)and yes that was constructive criticism IMHO and this is the last of my say-so on it!

Wow! I just want to ask ONE question to those persons who have been extremely mean on this thread, okay?
"What are you hoping to gain by being so mean?" I cannot see anything constructive out of your posts. If you don't think someone's art is good, then try to HELP with your criticism instead of to say things that could possibly STOP the creative juices in a person altogether!
After all, being on a path of creativity, no matter HOW GOOD OR BAD the artist, is a NOBLE path which deserves to be supported unless you would rather see the world spending their time on negative ventures such as hate crimes, war, etc.
THINK ABOUT THAT and let's support the artist within each of us.
So please, KNOCK OFF the negative and destructive banter.
Thank you.
Blessings, Heidi

This is getting old.
Darius and Matanglawin,
I have asked you to stop the harrassment. There's nearly 18K people on this board and you choose to follow 1 of them around and attack. Enough. STOP replying or posting on anything involving Lynman. If you don't, I will delete you and remove all your posts and if you come back, I'll do the same.
We all understand you don't like Lynman. We get it. There's no need to keep pushing the fact. If you are really here for constructive/useful/honest reasons, you'll move on. If you can't control yourself, like little kids, then please don't come back to our site. Enough is enough.
Matanglawin you had already agreed to stop the attacks. I expect you to honor your agreement.

Gary I agree I dont request permission yet to the original songwriter for this song. If you are going to visit the youtube site there are only few hits there. The video was produced for folks like you and me. No intention for marketing this or selling this into a CD without any supporting papers. If in any chance someone will take interest in my capability and planning to do the real thing with the simple idea I will be very eager to request and pay necessary licensing. You know this internet is like a big lithmus paper test for any ideas. You see the music industry is evolving and no one expects this kind of scenario. To tell you the truth Stan and I are not the only persons who did some parody to this song. In fact there is a website who caters to parodies and this song I believed was parodied 47 times. If you want you can check this link and we are in the 48th once I post it there. http://www.amiright.com/parody/sear...p;input03=&SearchTerms=4&Start=0Now if we all violated licensing agreement well this 47 parody writers are guilty too. Hope this will change your views about my ongoing project. Lynman

Again, Brian, this is a PROFESSIONAL stance. This is NOT about liking him or not. I have NOTHING personal against Lynman. But as a Filipino who has personally experienced his activities and his attitude towards OTHER artists way better than him, I am compelled to expose him as to what he is.
At any rate, with exception to this, I have stopped posting here. I do post in OTHER parts of the board, just in case you didn't notice.

You dont need to expose me. Im already exposed. Your character assassinations well are all quite effective here and I do gain more folks who supported me against all of your attack.
M Im using my real and true name here and in fact majority of your post here almost 90% are all directed to me. Pls think some other way to be productive here. Go to mp3 link or to lyrics critiquing your grasp in english language will be useful here as you claim.
Im glad Darius changed a bit Im hoping for you to do the same. Im busy M. I have other things to do aside from this music. I have music publishing company to look into, a medical practice so I can provide for my basic needs of my family, and some folks here who still needs my contribution in the field of music.
BEfore I end this letter to you pls do check the meaning of professional. Your actions here is too unprofessional. Also pls look the world ethics too. Probably you also dont know this thing also.
Goodbye and Goodluck in your career.
Lynman
